The travel rollercoaster (where one is in different beds regularly, living out of suitcases, taking multiple modes of transportation and eating nothing from your regular regime) has finally come to an end..."would all riders please exit to your right"...
I'm kinked, wrinkled, road-weary and bunged up but glad to be beginning to set a routine down for our kids and the family as a whole. School is already established, the fridge is full, the suitcases (mostly) unpacked, so now we work towards making this (really massive) house feel more like our home by leaving our books on the coffee tables, our smells in the kitchen and the kids' artwork under the magnets attached to the fridge.
We're off to a flea-market type sale (more like a collective neighbourhood/community) yard sale. I hope to pick up a hairdryer, sewing machine, some knives, etc...more to post soon.
Maggie, great to hear all your news and see your pics. Sounds like all is going well so far, many new things to get used to but I'm sure it's exciting. Bonne chance!
