TODAY few words, one picture.... the quilt top is finished and measures more than 1.6 meters across, 2.4 meters tall. I'm going to either need a bigger wall or bed, depending on where this will end up! It also means that I have to now take myself to a very dangerous place-- the fabric store to purchase batting and backing so that I can start on the actual quilting of this monstrosity. (I never thought it would be this big when I started it, honest!)
What a quilt! When it's declared a national treasure, make sure the Belgian government doesn't try to keep it...
